Home of the Best Hot Dogs Ever
If you do have a little time we sure would like to tell you about someone who is very special here: his name is Uncle Milty. He kind of runs the place, if running is what you want to call it. Why some folks even call him Mayor, although he just kind of just laughs about that. Usually Uncle Milty does nothing particularly special. In fact, he pretty much does nothing at all, except for fishing and relaxing and the like.
But nearly everyone loves Uncle Milty and he really is just about the nicest fellow you would ever want to meet. The reason Uncle Milty is such a popular fellow is that every Sunday, come rain or shine, cold or warm, Uncle Milty cooks hot dogs. Now these are not just ordinary hot dogs. Uncle Milty has his special recipe with very special sauce that make these dogs taste, well, unbelievable really. No one quite knows what makes these dogs taste so fine, except for Uncle Milty of course.
But every Sunday people come from miles around to taste Uncle Milty's dogs. And there is just about nothing Uncle Milty loves more than cooking his special hot dogs and giving them out to anyone who might happen to be in the neighborhood, for free of course. He gives them out to rich folk and poor folk alike, because all that Uncle Milty wants to do is make people happy. And once you taste one of these special dogs with the very special sauce, believe you me, you will be very, very happy.
As 11th & 11th has started to grow we convinced Uncle Milty to open up a store, right on the corner of 11th & 11th Avenues. He still gives his hot dogs out for free though, cyber-free that is. Now we hope that someday soon we will be able to sell Uncle Milty’s special dogs & special sauce for real folk that can’t come to our cybertown. We would use the money to help people and the environment, of course, because that's what we are all about here at 11th & 11th.
Oh and if you do happen to drop-by and see Uncle Milty, he is sure to serve you up one of his very fine jokes in addition to his hot dogs. But don’t get upset with Uncle Milty if he tells you the same joke every time he sees you. You see, Uncle Milty’s memory is not so good these days and he kind of repeats himself sometimes. But you know what, it’s OK with Uncle Milty and we hope that it’s OK with you. Because nothing much bothers folk here at 11th & 11th, and we hope we can keep it that way.
