About 11th & 11th
11th & 11th is a town, a cyber town. It’s the only place where 11th Avenue meets 11th Avenue, somewhere out in cyberspace. We hope you will find 11th & 11th a fun and informative place, with its electronic amusement park, nature center, lots of great shops, a university and more. But our town is more than just a nice place to visit.
We have one very important mission at 11th & 11th - to help people and the environment.
That is really what we are all about. So we do hope you enjoy your time here. And if you take some time to buy from our many fine shops at 11th & 11th, you will help us support environmental causes and people in need in the best way we know how.
The 11th & 11th Avenues Story
Now you may be wondering why we named our town 11th & 11th Avenues. Then again, maybe you aren’t and that’s just fine by us. But if you’d like to know, we sure would like to tell you.
You see, 11th & 11th is the only town we know that has two 11th Avenues meeting right in the center of town. Most people say that that just can’t happen. But in a cybertown like this, well, almost anything can happen, even things you don’t quite expect. So we just had to name our wonderful town after something that only happens in a one-of-a-kind place like this.
Like any town, 11th & 11th has many stories to tell. We have a mayor, of course. His name is Uncle Milty. Well, he is kind of a mayor. Mostly he just likes to help people, give away free hot dogs (cyberdogs that is) with his very special sauce and going fishing. So he doesn't take the "mayoring" part too seriously, which is just fine by us at 11th & 11th.
We do hope you stay awhile and check out our very fine town. And be sure to say hello to Uncle Milty and some of the other fine folk here. But if you just want to pass on through, well, that’s just fine by us too. That’s just the way it is here at 11th & 11th.
Finding Yourself
Oh, and one more thing. You never have to worry about getting lost here at 11th & 11th. Wherever you are is right where you are supposed to be, on 11th Avenue. Why, you might even think of it as a way of finding yourself again.
